On the 16 March 2024, 30 Nockolds employees will be heading out to the Costa del Sol to climb the peak of La Concha; a rocky mountain in Marbella that is 1215 meters above sea level. It will be a technical and difficult endurance challenge, that will take around 8-9 hours to complete, all the while raising money for a local Spanish charity, the DEBRA association.
DEBRA offers patient and family support for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’. In 2016, local firefighters carried a bench up to the peak to raise awareness for this condition. We will ensure we get a group photo with this bench in order to continue spreading awareness.
The reason for deciding to host this charity event in Spain is due to the opening of our separate Spanish business, Nockolds Lawyers Spain.
Any donations are voluntary and go directly to the DEBRA association.

El 16 de marzo de 2024, 30 empleados de Nockolds irán a la Costa del Sol para subir al pico de La Concha en Marbella situada a 1.215 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Será un reto de resistencia técnico y difícil, que tardará unas 8-9 horas en completarse, todo ello mientras se recauda dinero para una organización benéfica local, la asociación DEBRA.
DEBRA ofrece apoyo a pacientes y familiares que padecen Epidermólisis Bullosa (EB), también conocida como "Piel de Mariposa", una enfermedad rara, extremadamente dolorosa y genética que produce ampollas en la piel. En 2016, los bomberos locales llevaron un banco hasta la cima para concienciar sobre esta enfermedad. Nos aseguraremos de hacernos una foto de grupo con este banco para seguir concienciando.
La decisión de celebrar este acto benéfico en España se debe a la apertura de nuestro negocio independiente en España, Nockolds Lawyers Spain.
Las donaciones son voluntarias y se destinan directamente a la asociación DEBRA.

Una de cada 227 personas somos portadoras del gen defectuoso que provoca la enfermedad, por lo que esta puede irrumpir en cualquier familia de forma inesperada. La Asociación Piel de Mariposa (DEBRA España) es una organización sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja para mejorar la calidad de vida de los afectados y sus familias. Imagine not being able to hug your baby because you are afraid of hurting it. Because it was born with a rare genetic condition called Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as Butterfly Skin.
